The Walker Module

The Walker Module maneuvers the bot on a preprogramed pattern. This was originally in response to a need for a simple trolley running around a single block, where the trolley had to make rounded turns at each corner then long straight runs between corners. The built in blimp mode would just not work for this. The original script was done by Pelican, then converted by me and made into this module. The Module can be programed to walk, wait, change speed, speak, send console message, gesture, change av, and add or delete preset objects. Simple random branching can also be done. Also, the Walker module can set up to start the Blimp Bot through the data file. Most of the auxiliary functions, speech, console message, and object handling can be disabled as needed.

For some walker bots the avatar (like a bus or train or plane) needs to tilt at the angle the bot is taking up or down, and in others the avatar (like a human or Marvin the Martian or skeleton or other 2 leg avatars) the bot should not tilt, so pitch can be turned on and off as needed.

Note that at present, the Walker Module requires the Walker data file be manually edited after careful surveying and testing of the walker path.

Note also that the Mirror and Walker modules should NOT be used in same situation

The Walker Module requires the bot have Caretaker rights for the Console Message function
and requires the bot have build rights for the object functions
and that any objects be on the object path for the world.
